Serving up some Danish...is 'Nothing Sacred'

Combine Carole Lombard in Technicolor glory with a funny, acerbic script from Ben Hecht, and it's easy to see why "Nothing Sacred" was a huge American hit in late 1937. And while it's frequently said today that movie comedy doesn't travel well, that wasn't the case in Lombard's time. "Nothing Sacred" did well in other countries.

One of those lands was Denmark, where an exquisite program was designed. Here's the cover:

According to the Internet Movie Database, "Nothing Sacred" premiered in Denmark on Feb. 23, 1938 -- but it apparently was reissued there a decade later, following World War II. This program was notated in March 1948, as these pages make clear:

Since I can't read Danish, I do not know whether the program was commisioned for the '48 re-release or simply reprinted from its initial issue; I'm leaning towards the former. Does anyone here know Danish, and take a more educated guess?

The program is in good condition, and you can purchase it for $14 at eBay. Visit https://www.ebay.com/itm/Danish-movie-program-Nothing-Sacred-1948-Carole-Lombard-Fredric-March/323639594891?hash=item4b5a6c4f8b:g:dGkAAOSw5ZtaeFKM:rk:2:pf:0 to find out more.

If you lose out on this one, don't despair. Three other versions of this program are available.
