"Sinners In The Sun" (1932) is one of those Carole Lombard dramatic vehicles from the time in her career when she was known as a clotheshorse and not much else. (And in this film at least, those clothes included swimsuits, such as the one she's wearing in the arms of co-star Chester Morris, and gowns.) If it's remembered for anything today, it's as the second movie of Cary Grant's career; he's seventh-billed, and while I've never seen "Sinners," I know he has scenes with Carole, such as this:

Over the years, we've shown instances of how Paramount promoted this programmer, only Lombard's second top-billed film at the studio. Here's one more -- an ad from the May 14, 1932 issue of the Motion Picture Herald:

"She put a price on Love...stoked her happiness on wealth...and lost! Such is CAROLE LOMBARD in this swift, spectacular story of a girl who thought she could follow the dictates of her mind, instead of her heart. With 11 of Hollywood's most gorgeous girls wearing the most gorgeous of the new season's gowns. ...

Here are six of said girls, in lingerie:

Note that two of them are blondes who look a little like Lombard.

The issue of Motion Picture Herald featuring the ad is up for auction at eBay. Here's the magazine's traditional orange cover for that week...

...along with a Fox ad for a George O'Brien western...

...and one from RKO featuring future Lombard co-star John Barrymore:

And, as you would expect from a trade publication, there's plenty of fascinating industry stuff inside.
