This rarity from "Big News," showing Carole Lombard as a cloche-wearing newspaper reporter (de rigueur for 1929), is among four gelatin-silver photos from her pre-Code movies being sold as a single unit on eBay. All are in fine to very fine condition, and have no markings or snipes on the back.

The others are from "Up Pops The Devil" (1931), where Carole sternly stares at Norman Foster (playing her husband) and Lilyan Tashman...

..."The Eagle And The Hawk" (1933), as Lombard and flyer Fredric March gaze romantically...

...and "Bolero" (1934), where she prepares to dance with George Raft:

The set sells for $195, and if you're interested, learn more by visiting http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAROLE-LOMBARD-Original-1929-1934-Gelatin-silver-studio-photograph-lot-/351246791959?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51c7f0b517.
Here's yet another feathery Lombard LiveJournal header -- Paramount p1202-561, to be precise -- but this time, Carole crosses her legs amidst the feathers.
