Who's that man at the table sitting next to Carole Lombard, examining a piece of paper (presumably the check)? Would you believe it's...Cary Grant?
That hardly looks like the Cary we know so well, but this was only his second feature ("Sinners In The Sun"), and he doesn't have his customary look down just yet. (Either that, or the person in charge of the hairstyles came up with something unbecoming Grant.)
Want proof it's a still from that movie? Here it is:

You can buy it now for $60 or make an offer; if you go the latter course, the auction ends at 5:08 p.m. (Eastern) Thursday. Find more about it at http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cary-Grant-Movie-Still-Sinners-In-The-Sun-1932-Carole-Lombard-Paramount-/271511867139?hash=item3f375e4f03.
Another vintage photo from that film is being offered...but it features neither Carole nor Cary. Instead, you get Chester Morris, its leading man, alongside Adrienne Ames:

It should come as no surprise that this is being offered for substantially less -- $35 under the "buy it now" condition. Interested? Then visit http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cary-Grant-Movie-Still-Sinners-In-The-Sun-1932-Carole-Lombard-And-Chester-Morris-/281352033893?hash=item4181e35665.
The bad news about our latest Lombard LiveJournal header? No flimsy see-through dress that lets us view the outline of Carole's lovely legs. The good news? It's Paramount p1202-418, and she looks pretty damn seductive anyway.
