It's always nice to come across a Carole Lombard pose I've never seen before, and this surely qualifies. Wish I could tell you more about it, but there are no markings or snipe on the back and from the shade and design of her hair, I'm guessing this comes from between 1932 and 1934. The half-smile certainly adds some sex appeal, and as for that little speck between the fingers on her left hand, that's most likely a cigarette (de rigueur for sophistication back in the early '30s).

Oh, and good news for all of you who may have missed Sunday's 50-year Grammy tribute to the Beatles on CBS, or simply wish to see it again: A repeat performance airs tonight at 8:30 p.m. (Eastern/Pacific). And since the seller of today's item has the eBay tag "gooddaysunshine," how about hearing that good-timey track from "Revolver"?
