Here's an attractive image from one of Carole Lombard's early films at Paramount, 1931's "Up Pops The Devil." This is actually an inverted negative, 8" x 10" and of high quality. This, and others from the same seller, are derived from negatives made of the original stills.
Sometimes the digital images this seller makes available aren't as vivid as one might like, since a lightboard is used for reproduction, but I have no qualm with this one. The seller, "thephotoarchive" on eBay, has a fine track record with these things, coming up with an array of Lombard images I've never seen before.
