Nice Carole Lombard cover from Hollywood magazine, isn't it? Well, technically, this isn't a cover, because if it was, it'd be rather difficult to hold it open or turn its pages. Why? Because this particular image measures a gargantuan 24" x 30".
It's a canvas (and comes stretched, ready to hang with or without a frame), remastered by a firm called 45th Street Editions, which describes this collection as "primarily cover art that has been painstakingly re-mastered from vintage magazines from the '20s, '30s and '40s along with some original works of today." Interesting concept.
As befits something of this scale, it doesn't come cheaply; you can buy it at eBay for $350 or make an offer (there are apparently five available). Incidentally, this and other artworks in this collection can be ordered in a variety of sizes. So if you'd like this in perhaps a smaller, seemingly more affordable size, inquire at Floyd@FrameHouseGallery.com.
