Now that's a smile!

Ir's always wonderful to come across a Carole Lombard image I've never seen before, especially if it's a Paramount portrait. And here's an image I think you'll be enthralled with -- I certainly am:

It looks to be from about 1932 or '33, given the extreme blondeness of her hair. The seller notes this has a Paramount stamp on the back, but I can't tell whether it has a P1202 number (the code the studio used for her publicity photos).

I do know that it's an original, vintage 8" x 10" photo and is described as in near mint condition. That's why the one bid that has been placed as of this writing is for $44.95 -- hey, it's a rare image in fabulous shape, with an equally fabulous smile that seemingly could light up a room by itself.

Bidding continues through 5:24 p.m. (Eastern) on Tuesday. If you want to get involved, go to http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220609199891&_trksid=p2759.l1259.
