That's often forgotten when discussing MacMurray, who in his early years -- long before Disney films and "My Three Sons" -- had a handsomeness many women simply loved during the '30s and '40s.

The one adjective to best describe that photo would be "elegant." Both are in rare form. (Note, too, the label at the bottom, which states Katherine De Mille was a supporting cast member. That never happened for some reason, and I believe Astrid Allwyn wound up with the role.)
