The 10th Turner Classic Movies Film Festival is set for next week, about ten blocks east of the Hollywood Boulevard house Carole Lombard called home in the mid-1930s.
While I'm not officially attending this year's festival, I plan to soak in the atmosphere and meet people during this annual celebration of movies and classic Hollywood. So if you're going, please drop me a line and perhaps we can schedule an impromptu meeting near its home base, the Roosevelt Hotel (where Carole and Clark Gable had fun in the penthouse suite; if you see their spirits, say hi to them for me).
Also, my new business/Lombard stamp campaign cards just arrived -- I'd be pleased to offer you one.
The festival schedule is at http://filmfestival.tcm.com/programs/schedule/. See you there.
