'Belong'-ing to another pose

carole lombard p1202-741b front large

You may have seen that picture before; it's Carole Lombard in Paramount p1202-741 from 1934, promoting her upcoming film, "You Belong To Me." (As it turned out, she never made that movie, as she was switched in mid-year to another production, "Now And Forever.") Now another image of Carole in that outfit has surfaced -- it's a slightly different pose, p1202-754:

Its snipe on the back is word for word what Paramount printed on p1202-741:

Now p1202-754 can "belong" to you, as it's being auctioned at eBay. It measures 8" x 10", is in very good condition, and the seller says "there is some minor wear to the surface." Bids begin at $20 for this vintage portrait, and bidding runs through 9:04 p.m. (Eastern) next Sunday.
