A different name for "In Name Only"

Many Lombard fans are aware that the source for her 1939 film "In Name Only" was a novel called "Memory Of Love," written by Bessie Brewer. But what you may not know is that early in the development of the film, it had a completely different title, as this promotional ad makes clear:

Why was it changed? Perhaps the name "The Kind Men Marry" was deemed too vague or not sufficiently commercial. Perhaps by using "In Name Only," RKO was trying to create an subconscious parallel in the public's mind between this fictional romantic triangle and what had just gone on in Carole's personal life, with Cary Grant serving as an ersatz Gable and Kay Francis a faux Ria Langham. Whatever, the title "The Kind Men Marry" was never used.
