You probably know that Kay Francis is Turner Classic Movies' Star of the Month for September (http://community.livejournal.com/carole_and_co/133730.html), an honor Carole Lombard will similarly receive in October for the centennial of her birth. But the good news is, you can catch them both in a few days.
Here's where it gets confusing. While TCM is showing Francis films on four successive Thursdays this month, there are so many of them that some are being carried over into Friday morning, and such is the case with "In Name Only," the 1939 love triangle film Francis and Lombard made with Cary Grant; the three of them are seemingly mulling over the situation. It's being shown at 7 a.m. (Eastern) on Friday, Sept. 19.
So you can see the film while you're having breakfast...or you can wait until the last Monday in October, when "In Name Only" airs at 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday as part of the Lombard celebration. The choice is yours.
