'Orchids' to you

"No More Orchids" may be a Columbia programmer from 1932, but Carole Lombard's second film for Harry Cohn's studio has plenty going for it -- a solid performance from Carole (including elements of the comedy queen to come), Lyle Talbot also excelling as her leading man, the always-splendid Walter Connolly in support and C. Aubrey Smith in a rare villainous turn.

There's also this pic of Carole and Lyle that I've never seen before:

Ah, from the Lester Glassner collection (via Carlos Clarens), a frequent source for vintage Lombard photos.

It's in very fine condition, with only minor imperfections. You can buy it for $99.95, or make an offer. Get all the info by visiting https://www.ebay.com/itm/CAROLE-LOMBARD-ORIGINAL-STUDIO-PHOTO-NO-MORE-ORCHIDS-PRE-CODE-TALBOT-VF-1932/254571175448?hash=item3b459fde18:g:~TUAAOSwnFlemLL5.
