Judging from the similar P1202 numbers, it appears this could be from the same session that produced the "secret agent" shot seen in an earlier installment of the hat collection.
This was taken in the late 1920s, when these hats were an invariable part of women's fashion, complementing the slender ideal cultivated by flappers everywhere. But within a few years, these would become, pardon the phrase, old hat.
