A postcard, a pic and a watermark

A nice image of Carole Lombard (then again, nearly all of them are). This one's from a British postcard -- here's the back...

...which is derived from Paramount p1202-587, likely from 1933. Here it is, albeit with a watermark:

In contrast to the cropped postcard, this image -- taken from a vintage negative -- shows Carole's famed sapphire ring.

Both items are available from eBay. First, the p1202-587 negative: Bids for this 8" x 10" open at $176.99, with the auction slated to close at 10:11 p.m. (Eastern) Wednesday. Interested? The postcard, as one might guess, is substantially cheaper; you can buy it straight up for $8.20 or make an offer. Learn more by going to https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carole-Lombard-Original-Picturegoer-Postcard-5283/202788244245?hash=item2f371f0b15:g:7m4AAOSwVaVdjh0F.
