Two new pics to peruse

Discovering a hitherto unknown Carole Lombard portrait from her Paramount p1202 series is always a treat, and so it is with this, p1202-1619, probably from the latter half of 1937, near the end of her seven-plus years at the studio. Simple in its nobility, it shows Carole as a stunning vision in white.

But that's not the only new (or long-unseen) Lombard photo out there. The same seller has this pic, also an 8" x 10", not a p1202 (might it be from Columbia?) but taken some years before. Her prominently displayed sapphire ring is a giveaway:

Each photo has an opening bid of $6, and the auctions close at 3:39 or 3:43 p.m. (Eastern) Monday.

The sapphire ring photo is at https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carole-Lombard-Publicity-Photo/372678783411?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160811114145%26meid%3De806048b4561462ba01c40ef1144acb0%26pid%3D100667%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D372678783411%26itm%3D372678783411&_trksid=p2045573.c100667.m2042.
